Sunset Beach looks onto Table Bay – as well as the beautiful Atlantic Ocean – and is far more tranquil than the Atlantic Seaboard. However it’s still adventure-packed; world-renowned for kite surfing and wind surfing, both activities are literally on Bliss Boutique Hotel’s doorstep. It also boasts views of significant South African landmarks; the glorious Table Mountain and on a clear day, you’ll see Robben Island across the bay. For nature-lovers, the Rietvlei Wetland surrounding Sunset Beach is rich with bird life and best enjoyed from a comfortable deck chair on our property’s rooftop.

Beach+Bites Restaurant at Bliss Boutique Hotel is open to the public for dinner between Thursday and Saturday evenings, as well as Sundays for brunch by bookings only.
We are also launching High Tea from Thursday – Sunday by booking only.
Cocktail happy hour, “The Bliss Hour” is from 6-7pm every Thursday and Friday evening. Enjoy our half price cocktails and the stunning view of Table Mountain from across the bay.
This summer, our beautiful private pool is open to day visitors. Access is strictly limited to 8 people by reservation only, between Monday-Saturday from 11:00 – 18:00

Our new summer menu will be available from the 1st of October 2016, we are very excited to welcome our new Chef from France, Arhur Planchenault, to the team. Our menu has evolved somewhat and is no longer a tapas menu but rather a fine dining celebration of the season, with a focus on freshness, sophistication, and unadulterated ingredients, with just a hint of French flair.
Some of the highlights on the menu include a delicious prawn starter featuring a prawn bisque brulee, prawn ceviche and pan fried prawn. We recommend exploring our wine list to find a perfect pairing to this dish!
Chef Arthur’s braised baby fennel is fresh, light and visually beautiful. A decadent avo cream, dried black olives, hollandaise, cucumber and a herbaceous oil make this dish one of our summer favourites.
